Ceramic Armor as Protective Material in Defense Industry Product: A Literature Review

چکیده
Ceramics are currently widely used in various defense industries. Among them the purposes of body armor (vests and helmets), vehicle protection, ballistic protection. This review aims to provide insight into ceramic materials including their manufacture, use, application as protective materials. The method is a literature describes results analysis related form armor. use industry products proven good performance compared metal materials, especially increasing mobility capabilities personnel. In addition, has initiated development lightweight so that technologies have been developed maximize ceramics industry.
 Keramik saat ini banyak digunakan dalam berbagai industri pertahanan. Diantaranya untuk keperluan bahan pelindung tubuh (rompi dan helm), kendaraan, balistik. Review bertujuan memberikan wawasan tentang material keramik yang meliputi pembuatan, penggunaan, aplikasinya sebagai pelindung.
